KUANTAN, Nov 18 -The Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), and the Pahang State Museum Corporation (PMNP), through the Al-Sultan Abdullah History and Civilisation Research Centre-Pahang Museum (AL-ASAR), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for research on knowledge advancement in the field of historical heritage and national civilisation.
Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Binti Almarhum AlMutawakkil Alallah Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj witnessed the handover of the agreement.
UPM Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohd Roslan Sulaiman, said the collaboration aligned with the university's aspiration to further excel as a tower of knowledge and as a respected educational institution.
"This is in line with UPM's mission to be a leading research and teaching centre in various fields, as well as to support the study of historical heritage and civilisation that can be advantageous to future generations," he said.
The MoU took place during the Royal Conference and the Signing of Cooperation with the Pahang Museum here. - UPM
