SERDANG, 15 June – The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FPSK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), organised Neuro-BRB 2023 to discuss and address current challenges in the treatment and diagnosis of brain diseases and other related fields.

Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Prof Dr. Nazamid Saari, stated that Neuro-BRB 2023 provides an excellent platform to expand knowledge and inspire the community in the field of neuroscience and neurology.

This conference involved scientists, researchers, clinical experts, and industry professionals from around the world to discuss the latest research and discoveries on various topics, including brain diseases, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s disease, and other related conditions,” he said.

Moreover, the Neuro-BRB 2023 conference gathered leading experts from Japan, Thailand, Mongolia, Hong Kong, the United States, Australia, and other stakeholders in an effort to advance and explore technological developments in brain diseases.

Programme director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cheah Pike See stated that the conference promotes collaboration and the interchange of ideas in the field of neuroscience research, not only involving renowned experts, but also, postgraduate students and the general public.

“May this conference bring innovation and collaboration among stakeholders and improve the lives of individuals affected by neurology,” she added. -UPM.
